Eneral has served as Elenia's long-term expert work and project management partner

Eneral has served as a long-term partner for Elenia, supporting them in several energy-sector projects. The cooperation has covered, among other things, the implementation and further development of a cloud-based metering data management system (MDM), the transition to 15-minute settlement, an ERP renewal and a smart meter mass replacement project. Eneral's role has focused on expert work and project management, where Elenia has been able to make use of Eneral's strengths, such as technical expertise, management of extensive system entities, project leadership competence, and knowledge of an electricity distribution system operator's business processes and systems.

The Elenia Group consists of Elenia Oy, which provides energy-sector services, and Elenia Verkko Oyj, which provides electricity distribution services. Elenia Verkko Oyj is Finland's second-largest electricity distribution system operator and serves more than 440,000 customers in over one hundred municipalities. Elenia is responsible for the operation of the electricity network and the construction of the network and connections. Elenia is also responsible for measuring its customers' electricity consumption and delivering that information to the electricity market.

Eneral has supported Auris Energia in gas meter and remote reading terminal mass replacement, work order system implementation and business process development

Eneral has acted as Auris' partner in an extensive mass replacement project for gas meters and remote reading terminals, as well as in the implementation of a new work order system. The work order system has been used for reporting and monitoring mass replacement installations. Eneral was responsible for areas such as project planning and leadership, also taking care of the project schedule and budget and ensuring smooth stakeholder collaboration throughout the mass replacement project lifecycle.

The work order system implemented in the mass replacement project was later expanded to also cover Auris' other service work, such as metering, removals and inspection visits. In this development project, Eneral supported Auris in technical specification work, managing integrations and system changes, and delivering contractor training.

Eneral has also supported Auris in a business process mapping and development project. Eneral led the process mapping project by facilitating personnel workshops where the company's key processes were defined and described together with different business units. The outcome was a set of clearly described and easy-to-maintain process descriptions.

Auris Energia is a Finnish energy company whose group consists of several business units: energy services, gas sales, gas distribution and biogas production. Auris owns approximately 1,200 kilometres of gas distribution network and distributes natural gas and biogas in more than 20 municipalities. The company ensures the operation of the distribution network and develops it to be ready for future energy solutions, such as hydrogen and synthetic gases. Auris is also responsible for gas customer metering and remote reading terminals.
